Tested by the Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR) under MOLIT Notice No. 2023-24, Article 25, Clauses 1 and 2 — the Heat Release Rate Test (Cone Calorimeter Method) and the Toxic Gas Emission Test. Archi Shield passed both with a "Compliant" rating.
In a live ammunition test, a 3mm coating applied over ballistic fabric failed to be penetrated — X-ray imaging afterward showed the bullet embedded in the plate, confirming the coating absorbed and dispersed the impact. In a separate ignition test on 100mm Type 2 Styrofoam with a 3mm coating, flame did not spread across the coated surface and the substrate underneath remained unaffected.
