About Archi Shield

Waterproofing without joints, seams or weak points

Archi Shield is a polyurea waterproofing system from ASPEX. It is sprayed on as a single, continuous membrane, so there are no joints or seams for water to find.

It cures fast, so the area is back in service in as little as 24 hours, and it performs from −40°C to +120°C without cracking. Every job is backed by a guaranteed lifespan of 10+ years.

Choose Materials Supply Only if you are a certified applicator, or Labor & Materials (Turnkey) and we handle mobilization, surface prep, application and flood testing.

Why Not the Alternatives

What happens to other waterproofing over time

Cementitious

Cracking appears within days to a few months, due to structural movement and temperature changes.

Polyurethane

Leaks may develop after 4–10 years, depending on application and UV exposure.

Waterproof Paint

Peeling or chipping commonly appears within 1–3 years in humid climates, caused by moisture and rainfall.

Polyurea itself is a strong material — excellent waterproofing, chemical and impact resistance, curing in as little as 24 seconds even in low temperatures. Its one widely-cited weakness is fire vulnerability: standard polyurea behaves similarly to polyurethane when exposed to flame, releasing toxic gases. Archi Shield's formulation exists specifically to close that gap.

Why Archi Shield

Built to protect, built to last

Seamless Membrane

Zero joints or seams — eliminates all leak pathways.

Fast Cure

Ready for service in as little as 24 hours.

All-Weather

Performs from −40°C to +120°C without cracking.

10+ Year Lifespan

Guaranteed durability with minimal maintenance.

Beyond Flame Retardancy

How the formulation actually works

Dehydration Reaction

An endothermic reaction (dehydration → heat absorption) that actively works against combustion as it starts.

Char Layer Formation

A protective char layer forms during combustion, blocking the spread of smoke and flame.

Proprietary Dispersion

A dispersion technology that solves inorganic sedimentation issues, so mechanical strength and flame resistance are achieved together, not traded off.
